Many roads traveled brought Nancy to co-found Q Squared with her daughter Alaina. First off, Nancy's career started as an editor at a premier fashion and beauty magazine​, and she eventually made her way to opening her own home accessories retail store. "Elegance with ease" was her common theme throughout, and now at Q Squared, Nancy's skills focus on daily duties that include inspiring the team and being the first to say "It's 5 o'clock somewhere" while uncorking the wine.

Alaina Young
Founder & Creative Director

Alaina draws from (get it!) her worldly upbringing and studies in Art History to create the designs that are uniquely Q Squared. As Creative Director, Alaina oversees all the visual aspects of the company, including product design and brand imagery. Originally from NYC, Alaina began her career in TV/Film production design, but made the move to Q Squared when her mother Nancy said "please?" Alaina likes to spend her spare time binge-watching Netflix, cuddling with her two doggies Molly & Oliver, and trying to figure out what she's going to wear next.
