Beautiful tables have always been at the heart of Q Home. For years, “the good china” meant fragile pieces brought out only on holidays—admired, hand washed, and then put away. We wanted something different: tableware that feels just as special, but can be used every day without worry.
Founded in 2011, Q Home was created to answer a simple question:
Why save beautiful design for a few occasions a year?
A Higher Standard for Melamine
Not all melamine is the same. Many mass-market pieces are blended with fillers like urea or chalk, which can reduce quality, feel flimsy, and create uncertainty about what’s really in the dishes you’re eating from.
Q Home takes a different approach:
- 100% melamine resin in our classic white and patterned collections
- A proprietary melamine–bamboo blend in Potter and Terrazzo for a stoneware-inspired look
- Thoughtfully finished surfaces—glossy white, organic ruffle, or earthy ceramic-style textures
The result is tableware that feels substantial in the hand, resists chips and breaks, and looks at home on both everyday and holiday tables.
