Salad bowl is not shatter proof

I love my 12 inch salad bowl , the Terra cotta Melamine Bamboo one. But contrary to what is advertised, it did shatter. I was heart broken as it is my favorite salad bowl and its exactly the right size. Now I have to buy another one.

Smaller than I thought. Hard to arrange a return

Love these dishes

During a period of heightened sound sensitivity due to medical condition, I purchased some melamine dinnerware to reduce some of the most challenging noises (percussion sounds). My ears are back to normal, but I have really taken a shine to these dishes and ended up with an entire set. They look just like pottery, to the extent that you are prepared to lift a much heavier plate and you have to get used to them being much lighter. In the months that we've had them they don't stain or scratch as others have in the past. Truly excellent product. One of my favorite purchases of the past year.
